Seth Rogen is an all-around hilarious and smart guy (despite the dumb sh*t he does in some of these stories). This book had me on the floor, rolling around in tears at some descriptions, quotes from people or himself, or just the stories in general. They range from being about his past/current career, his family, and growing up in Canada, amongst some other random insights to celebrity life.
Some stories were definitely more interest-grabbing than others (I wasn’t too into The Interview or tiger related chapters), but Seth’s way of writing makes it seem like he’s just in the room talking to you over the course of a few hours – so, like anyone who you’re doing that with, some moments/topics of conversation are gonna hit big, while others can be used as a time to check your social media or dissociate into their pottery collection.
This was a quick read as well – so if you’re looking for a palette-cleanser book that you can get through on a Saturday morning and will make you laugh like you probably haven’t laughed in weeks, this is THE book to pick up. I have heard the audio version has the actual actors/people he is mentioning give their voices for their lines, so that is definitely getting added to my cart next because I can imagine that adds an extra level of hilarity to the whole thing – and will make me feel like I am having the coolest dinner party ever.
